Friday 7:30-10 pm
“Geometry & Physics of Acro Conditioning”
Clean drills are the secret to longevity and overall improvement for even the most experienced practitioners. This class will get your bodies warm and evaluate the portions of your movement
that need refinement. Once identified, we will provide methods of training that can be beneficial for both your L-Basing and Standing Practice long after leaving the classroom.
Saturday Noon-2:30 pm
“Precision Movement”
The proper absorbing and pouring of weight allows partnerships to find single point stability during movement. This journey begins by exploring precarious transitions that challenge your understanding of balance. After expanding your sense of balance, we will continue to uplevel by adding movement in precarious positions.
Saturday 4-6:30 pm
“Dynamic Transitions”
Taking the skills we calibrated in the morning session to the next level, we will incorporate more dynamic movements. As the recision and softness continue to grow, these motions will become larger and result in pops and whips that move between poses.
Sunday Noon-2:30 pm
“The Ins and Outs of Hand to Hand (and Foot to Hand)”
This session will focus on controlled and dynamic movement in and out of L-basing Foot to Hand and Hand to Hand (standard and reverse). The goal will be to increasing your versatility in these postures so that you can enter and exit smoothly and safely from and to a myriad of postures.
Sunday 4-6:30 pm
“Standing Acro Calibrations & Transitions”
For many individuals, the jump in elevation between L-Basing and Standing Acrobatics can be daunting. Our focus is bridging the gap between these 2 practices. Emphasis will be on elevated postures in a manner that maintains a safe environment for flyers while significantly challenging our bases. Intelligent spotting is paramount to a successful standing practice and will be an integral part of this content.
