AcroYoga mixes the dynamic power of acrobatics with the wisdom of yoga and the great tenderness that comes from healing touch. In this Beginner 101 Workshop, students of all levels will build a foundation for acroyoga practice by cultivating physical strength, confidence, playfulness, and sensitivity of the heart.
Whether it is your first experience or you have already dabbled in the practice, you will find challenge and joy! Expect to perform asanas, strengthening exercises, assisted inversions, basic acrobatics with partners, therapeutic exercises and Thai massage techniques. Come with an open heart and open mind. The Solar Immersion empowers you to realize your infinite potential through the powerful embodiment of acrobatic partnership. Linear progressions and an emphasis on the art of spotting make learning advanced acrobatics safe, accessible, and fun. Confidence and coordination are developed in strength training and inversions, which pave the way for ease and grace in partner acrobatics. Life is Good Founders, Bert and John Jacobs invite you to Life is Good headquarters in South Boston for a 90-minute AcroYoga class taught by the co-founder of the practice, Jason Nemer. This introductory class will offer students of any (and all) fitness levels a chance to connect, relax and have a lot of fun.
After class everyone is invited to stick around the Life is Good Tavern to raise a glass, indulge in some healthy snacks and continue to spread good vibes.
